Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and an encrypted hash of your password. We never store plain text passwords. For shortlink visitors, we record aggregated telemetry including country, approximate city, browser type, operating system, and referrer URL.

2. Privacy-Conscious Visitor Telemetry

We do NOT store raw IP addresses in our analytics click records. Unique visitor detection is achieved using a one-way daily salted cryptographic SHA-256 hash that is rotated automatically to prevent long-term tracking or cross-site profiling.

3. Third-Party Advertising Providers

When monetization is enabled, interstitial advertisements may be served by independent publisher networks such as Adsterra, Monetag, or custom sponsors. These third parties may utilize standard tracking technologies in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

Analytics click logs are retained for a configurable period (30–365 days) before automatic pruning. Users may delete their shortlinks and associated analytics at any time via the dashboard.
